Description:
You may receive an error "You have exceeded the storage limit on your mailbox. Delete some items from your mailbox, or ask your server administrator to increase your storage limit."
This message indicates that you have exceeded your email quota. You have too many emails or you have received large attachments which have used up your alloted mail quota.
Solution:
You can reduce the size of your mailbox by doing the following:
- Delete unneeded emails.
- Review and then delete the items in your Junk E-mail folder.
- Save any large attachments to your hard drive for safekeeping and then delete the emails.
- Review and then delete the items in your Deleted Items folder. Until you delete the items in
your Deleted Items folder, they still apply towards your alloted email quota. To delete all of the
items
in your
Deleted Items folder at one time, do the following:
- Do NOT use graphics/images in your signature or a background for your emails. This will
quickly use up your alloted email quota and that of your email recipients.
